Mabira's father was Robert De Caen and her mother was Mabel Fitzhamon. Her paternal grandparents were Henry I "Beauclerc" King Of England and Nesta ferch Rhiwallon; her maternal grandparents were Robert Fitzhammon and Sybil De Montgomery. She had twelve brothers and five sisters, named William Fitz, Roger, Richard, Hamon, William "Mafonache", Philip, Philip [De Gai], Robert, Philip De, Hamon, Richard, Roger, Mabel, Maude Fitz, Maud Plantagenet De Caen, Maud Of and Mabira De. She had a half-sister named Maud De. She died after 1190.General Notes
