William Earl of Buchan Comyn 
William Earl of Buchan was born about 1170. William Earl of Buchan's father was Richard Comyn and his mother was Hextilda Fitzuctred of Tynedale. His paternal grandparents were William Comyn and Maude Basset; his maternal grandparents were Huctred Tynedale and Bethoc van Schotland. He was an only child. He died in 1233.General Notes
