Adelheid Welf Von was born about 1245 in Luneburg,Saxony,Prussia.  Adelheid Welf Von's father was Otto I, Duke Of BRUNSWICK & LUNEBURG and her mother was Mathilde D'Ascanie.  Her paternal grandparents were Wilhelm Prince Of Saxony and Helene Princess of DENMARK; her maternal grandparents were Albert II D'Ascanie and Mathilde Von NIEDER-LAUSITZ. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Albrecht I Duke Of, Johann I, Otto, Konrad, Matilde, Margarethe, Helene Princess Of, Elisabeth and Agnes Princess Of.  She was the second youngest of the ten children.  She died on June 12th, 1274.  She was buried in St. Elisabethkir,Marburg,Hessen-Nassau,Prussia.
