Maud de was born about 1097 in Blois,France.  Maud de's father was Estienne Henry Blois and her mother was Adela (Alice) Princess England.  Her paternal grandparents were Thibaut de Blois and Gersende of Countess Maine; her maternal grandparents were William "The Conqueror" of England and Matilda (Maud) Countess Flanders. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Guillaume , de Champagne de, Theobald III Le Grand Count de, Philippe , Bishop of Chalons de, Humbert , de Champagne de, Stephen (Etienne) King, Etienne, Henri (Eudes) , Bishop of Winchester de, Lithuise Adaela , de Champagne de, Alix , de Champagne de, Eleonore de and Emma de. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William De and Emma Of.  She died on November 25th, 1120 in At sea off Barfleur,Normandy,France.
