Alain Comte de Gruingamp was born in 1154.1 Alain Comte de Gruingamp's father was Henry I Comte de Treguier de PENTHIEVRE and his mother was Mathide de VENDOME. His paternal grandparents were STEPHEN COUNT de PENTHIEVRE and HAWISE de GRUNGAMPE; his maternal grandparents were Jean de VENDOME and Mathilde de LAVARDIN. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Conan de la ROCHE, Geslin Signeur de Coetmen, Nobilis and Alix I. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 59 in 1213.1 -
