His paternal grandparents were Halfdan* "The Black" King De Vestfold and Ragnhild* De Ringerike; his maternal grandfather was EYSTEIN GUDRODSSON de VIKEN. He had two brothers named Bjorn Haraldsson and OLAV HARALDSSON. He had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Dag HAROLDSSON, Hring HAROLDSSON, Eric* I "Blood Axe" King, BIJORN KING, SIGURD KING, Ingigerth HAROLDATTIR, Guthroth Skirja, ALOFA and INGEBIORG.
