Isabel was born in 1214 in Winchester, Hampshire, England.1   Isabel's father was JOHN "Lackland" KING de ENGLAND and her mother was ISABEL (Heiress) de TAILLEFER.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry* II "Curt Mantel" King De England and Eleanor* Duchess De Aquitaine; her maternal grandparents were AYMER 14th COUNT de ANGOULEME and ELIZABETH (Alice) LADY de FRANCE. She had two brothers and three sisters, named HENRY III KING, RICHARD PRINCE, JOAN, ELEANOR and LUCIA FITZ ROY. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named RICHARD FITZ, HUGH XI (Count), WILLIAM (Earl) de BRUME, ALICE (de Brume) and ISABELLE.

‌Isabel and FREDERICK II EMPEROR were married in a religious ceremony on July 20th, 1235 in Worms, Rheinhessen, Hesse-Darmstadt, Germany.1   They had two sons and two daughters, named Jordan, Heinrich, Agnes and Margarethe (Archduchess).
