His paternal grandparents were IOANNES KOMNENOS and ANNA DALASSENA; his maternal grandparents were ANDRONIKOS DOUKAS and MARIA de WEST BULGARIA. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Andronkos, Manolis, ISAAC, THEODORA, Anna, Eudoxia, Maria and Zofia. He died at the age of 55 on April 8th, 1143.1 -
