Olin Whatley 
Olin was born on April 9th, 1888 in Byrd, Ellis Co., TX.1 Olin's father was Lewis Whatley and his mother was Mary Caroline Rushing. His maternal grandparents were Thomas J. Rushing and Mary Anne Huffman. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas Edmund, Barnard Earl, Louis, Mary Alice, Ruth, Lucy, Ethel and Loura. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 2 on August 17th, 1890 in Byrd, Ellis Co., TX. He was buried in Grady Cemetery, Ellis Co., TX.1 1 -
