Eleanor was born about 1446 in Stanford, Worcestershire, England.1   Eleanor's father was NORMAN (Sir) LORD de WASHBOURNE and her mother was ELIZABETH (Lady) KNIVETON.  Her paternal grandparents were JOHN (Sir) WASHBOURNE and MARGARET (le Poher) le POOR; her maternal grandfather was HENRY (Sir) LORD de KNIVETON. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Robert, William, JOHN, Thomas, Mary, Anne, N.N., Elizabeth and N.N..  She was the fourth oldest of the ten children.  She died in 1505 in Wichenford, Worcestershire, England.1

‌Eleanor and Richard were married in a religious ceremony on November 27th, 1467 in Yorkshire, England.1   They had a son and nine daughters, named Stephen, Elizabeth (Lady), Eleanor, Margaret, Catherine, Mary, Jane, Anne, Frances and Dorothy.
