J. D. Strickland 
J. D. was born on October 10th, 1912 in Falco, Alabama.1 J. D.'s father was Cleveland Strickland and his mother was Ethel Williams. He was an only child. He died at the age of 65 on May 18th, 1978. He was buried in Crestview, Okaloosa County, Florida.1 1 
J. D. and Velma W. were married in a religious ceremony on March 20th, 1938 in Crestview, Okaloosa County, Florida.2
