Manda Lou was born on May 18th, 1880 in ?.¹   Manda Lou's father was William Archie Stewart and her mother was Mary Jane Riddle. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Samuel W., Stonewall A. Johnson, Henry Fletcher, Hiriam Archie, William Jackson, Alexander Clay, Julia A., Mary Elizabeth, Laura Ellen, Eliza Jane and Lula E..  She was the second youngest of the twelve children.  She died in ?.¹
