Mary's father was GEORGE STONEHOUSE and her mother was Elizabeth WOODRUFF.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert STONEHOUSE and Rose ROYDEN; her maternal grandparents were David WOODRUFF and Elizabeth HILL.  She was an only child.

They had a son named Thomas III (Sir).
