Ogmund's father was SKOPTI OGMUNDSSON and his mother was GUTHRUN TORDSDOTTIR. His paternal grandfather was OGMUND THORBERGSSON de NORWAY; his maternal grandparents were TORD FOLASON and ALOV EINARSDOTTIR. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Finn, Thorth, Ragnhild and THORA.
