Rebecca was born on October 2nd, 1714 in Hartford, Hartford Co., Conneticut.1 Rebecca's father was Zachariah SEYMOUR and her mother was Hannah OLMSTEAD. Her paternal grandparents were John SEYMOUR and Mary WATSON; her maternal grandparents were Joseph OLMSTEAD and Elizabeth BUTLER. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Zachariah, Joseph, Stephen, Joseph, Hannah and Anne. She was the third oldest of the seven children.-
