James Madison Ryals 
James Madison was born on April 13th, 1859 in Conecuh County, Alabama.1 James Madison's father was George W. Ryals and his mother was Narcissa Blair. He was an only child. He died at the age of 81 on November 23rd, 1940. He was buried in Ramah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Lenox, Alabama.1 1 
James Madison and Nancy Ann were married in a religious ceremony on March 2nd, 1881 in J. C. Garrett's.2 They had three sons and a daughter, named Colmbus Aaron, James Hubbard, Lenoa Noah and Allie Leona.
