Pierre Dorsey was born on August 21st, 1884 in Coffee Co., AL.1 Pierre Dorsey's father was William F. McDonald Rushing and his mother was Mary Wise. His paternal grandparents were Francis Marion Rushing and Frances Virginia Yelverton; his maternal grandparents were Mr. Wise and Mary (?). He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Marion, William Dykes, Gwendoline, Lillian Dale, Mary Claudine, Francis Vera, Delia, Annie Lou Alice and Johnnie B..
