John MERCHANT

John was born on August 2nd, 1755.¹ John's father was Gurdon MERCHANT and his mother was Eleanor CHAUNCEY. His paternal grandparents were John MARCHANT and Sarah GILBERT. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Chauncey, Gurdon, Joel, Silas, Enoch, Lemuel, Eleanor, Phebe, Sarah and Ann. He died at the age of 82 on September 11th, 1837.¹
