James Johnson

James was born about 1796.¹ James' father was Samuel, Sr. Johnson and his mother was Hannah Cooper. His maternal grandparents were James- Cooper and Hannah Hibbs. He had six brothers and three sisters, named William, Joseph, Samuel, Jr., Joseph, Charles O., George W., Margaret, Ann and Elizabeth. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.
