John Edwin Hobbs 
John Edwin was born on October 9th, 1875 in West Jordan, Salt Lake Co., Utah.1 John Edwin's father was William Hobbs and his mother was Matilda Barrett. His paternal grandparents were William HOBBS and Ann OWEN; his maternal grandparents were WILLIAM BARRETT and Phoebe Colbourne. He had six brothers and four sisters, named William, George Henry, Charles Washington, Thomas Henry, Albert Leroy, James Arthur, Sarah Ann, Laura Dora, Kate Eileen and Olivine. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 59 on December 10th, 1934.1 -
