Silas Milton was born on May 2nd, 1859 in Shelby Co., AL.1 Silas Milton's father was Asa Amos, Sr. Goodwin and his mother was M. Emily Howard. He had four brothers named John H., William Madison, Asa Amos, Jr. and Thomas Moody. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 52 on April 17th, 1912 in Shelby Co., AL.
