Stephen Garrett 
Stephen was born on April 16th, 1775 in Laurens County, South Carolina.1 Stephen's father was Edward II Garrett and his mother was Ann West Ousley. His paternal grandparents were Edward I Garrett and Elizabeth Catlett. He had seven brothers and seven sisters, named John, William, Nicholas Ware, Jesse, Sr., James, Hosea, Edward III, Elizabeth, Frances Fannie, Rhoda, Dorcus, Mary, Martha and Irene Kiziah. He was the sixth youngest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 71 on January 25th, 1847 in Chatooga. Georgia.1 -
