Benjamin Franklin was born on March 4th, 1844 in Buckingham County, Virginia.1 Benjamin Franklin's father was Allen Garrett and his mother was Mary Nixon. His paternal grandparents were William Garrett and Mary Branch Coleman. He was an only child. He died at the age of 89 in 1933 in Maxwelton, West Virginia.1 -
