Rosa Elizabeth was born on September 6th, 1882 in Bynum, Talladega Co., AL.1 Rosa Elizabeth's father was Willis Noval Gannaway and her mother was Lousia Ellen Spradley. Her paternal grandparents were James Burton Gannaway and Rosanna Woodruff; her maternal grandparents were Michael Decalb Charles Spradley and Elizabeth Boone. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Charlie Burton, Elbert H., Eula Ann and Bertie Izola. She was the oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 73 on April 21st, 1956 in Lincoln, Talladega, Co., AL. She was buried in Hall Cemetery, Refuge Baptist, Lincoln, AL.1 1 -
