Lewis Wilhoit was born on March 10th, 1909 in Troy, Bell Co., TX.1 Lewis Wilhoit's father was Ernest Wilhoyt Fowler and his mother was Annie Belle Spradley. His maternal grandparents were Clayton Louis Pinkerton Webster Spradley and Josephine J. Brock. He had a brother and a sister, named William Carey and Josephine Virginia.
