Joe L. Douglas 
Joe L. was born on March 5th, 1903.1 Joe L.'s father was James Frank Douglas and his mother was Emma Virginia McGowin. His paternal grandparents were Silas William Douglas and Mason Emeline Trulove; his maternal grandparents were Jacob L. McGowin and Rebecca F. Moore. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Stephen Alexander, James Mason, Ernest Frank, Baby, Virginia Leotus, Alice Mason, Ruth Rebecca, Carrie Lee and Bertha Pauline. He was the youngest of the ten children. He had a half-brother and five half-sisters, named James Howard, Mary Emma, Evelyn Lee, Margaret Lois, Martha Geraldine and Elsie Lucille. He died at the age of 76 on May 21st, 1979.1 -
