John was born about 1452 in Culworth, Northamptonshire, England.1 John's father was RICHARD DANVERS and his mother was ELIZABETH LANGSTON. His paternal grandparents were John* Danvers and Alice* Verney; his maternal grandparents were JOHN LANGSTON and ELIZABETH (Jane) DENTON. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Richard, N.N., MARGERY and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the five children.1 -
