Cortland Comly, Ship Chandler Cooper 
Cortland Comly, Ship Chandler was born in 1793.1 Cortland Comly, Ship Chandler's father was James Cooper and his mother was Sarah Comly. His paternal grandparents were James- Cooper and Hannah Hibbs. He had six brothers and a sister, named William, James, Henry Augustus, Hamilton, George W., Strickland and Sarah Ann. He was the oldest of the eight children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named William, Naomi, Caroline and Hannah. He died at the age of 64 in January 1857.1 -
