Mattie Leona was born on April 16th, 1893 in Crenshaw Co., AL.1 Mattie Leona's father was Rufus Jefferson Cook and her mother was Frances Priscilla Lewis. Her maternal grandparents were Dixon Hillman Lewis and Martha Matilda Stough. She had a brother and a sister, named Clarence Homer and Sallie Elma. She was the youngest of the three children. She died at the age of 97 in December 1990 in FL.1 -
