John COE 
John was born in 1816 in Ross Co, Ohio.1 John's father was Hezekiah COE and his mother was Barbara NEAR. His paternal grandparents were Elijah COE and Ann SMALLWOOD; his maternal grandparents were PHILIP NEER and ELIZABETH (Mary) POTTS. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Philip, James, Johnathan C., Elizabeth, Nancy and Ann. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died in Boiling Springs, Decatur Co., Illinois.1 -
