THOMAS was born in 1578 in Ipswich, Suffolkshire, England.1 THOMAS' father was JAMES CARTER and his mother was UNKNOWN MISS. He was an only child. He died at the age of 74 on June 25th, 1652 in Charlestown, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts.1
