I have been enjoying re-reading the material you sent me.  I can add a
few details, most of which probably don't concern you.  For example;
Denzil Blue was a doctor; an eye, ear, nose and throat specialist.  He
removed my tonsils, my only operation so far, in 1951.  He graduated from
Auburn and Tulane Medical College.  Mary Foy Blue was his sister, not
daughter.  Their mother was my Aunt Lucille, who was raised by Grandaddy
and Granny Ham and was considered a sister by Viva, Lurleen, and Pansy.`
Uncle Denzil raised purebred Collies.  He had a beautiful estate in
Bessemer and I was the ring bearer when he married Lola.  Their son Pat
is still in real estate in Birmingham, I believe.  Kathy studied art and
I have not seen them since my mother's funeral in 1983.
Denzils' sister Mary Foy married Gus Walker in Hurtsboro.  They had a
cattle ranch when I was small and used to visit them and play with Tony
(Thornton) and Bobbie Blue.  Tony went to Auburn about the time I was
there and Bobbie Blue got married to a boy in Hurtsboro. Written by Rick
