Frank Beard

Frank was born about 1826 in Union Township, Bedford Co., Pennsylvania.¹ Frank's father was Jacob Beard and his mother was Catherine GARN. His maternal grandparents were FREDERICK GARN and FANNY MOCK. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Jacob, William, Samuel, John, Joseph, Katherine, Mary, Anna, Elizabeth, Malinda and Catherine. He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children.
