John Drummond 
John was born in 1438 in Cargill and Stobhall, Perthshire, Scotland. John's father was Malcolm Drummond and his mother was Mariot Murray. His paternal grandparents were Walter Drummond and Margaret Ruthven; his maternal grandparents were David Murray and Margaret Colquhoun. He was an only child.
