Charles Radclyffe 
Charles was born on September 3rd, 1693 in Little Parndon,Essex,England. Charles' father was Edward Radclyffe and his mother was Mary Tudor. His paternal grandparents were Francis Radclyffe and Katherine Fenwick; his maternal grandparents were Charles Tudor and Mary Davis. He was an only child. He died at the age of 53 on December 8th, 1746 in England. He was buried in St Guiles-in-the-Fields.General Notes

MARRIAGE: Charles was married to his cousin, Lady Betty Lee Linchfield, when he found out that his previous girlfriend, Margaret Snowden was with child. Charles was the forced to marry Meg by her father and brother in a shotgun wedding. Charles stayed with Meg long enough to give the baby, Jane, the Radclyffe name. Charles then went back to his wife, Laddy Betty, but stayed in touch with Meg and his daughter, Jane until his death.
DEATH: Charles was beheaded at age 53 and his body buried in St. Guiles-in-the-Fields. His heart was carried to Dilson by two loyal servants where it was placed in a leaden box beside the coffin of his brother James, the Fifth Earl of Derwentwater.
