William de Braose , 1st Lord of Bramber

William was born in 1040 in Brienze, France.  William's father was Gilbert "Crispin" d'Eu , Count de Brionne and his mother was Gunnora d'Aunou. He had two brothers named Baldwin and Richard "de Tonbridge" "de Clare".  He was the youngest of the three children.  He died at the age of 49 in 1089 in Bramber, Sussex, England.
