Ralph "The Timid" De was born in 1026 in Nantes, Normandy, France.  Ralph "The Timid" De's father was Dreux (Drogo) Count Of Amiens & Vexin Mantes and his mother was Goda (Godgifu) Princess England Goda.  His paternal grandparents were Walter II Count Of Valois & Amiens & Gauthier II Count Of Vexin and Adele De Senlis; his maternal grandparents were Ethelred II "Unready" England [King] and Emma Beauclerc Of Normandy Queen Of England. He had two brothers and a sister, named Walter Of, Fulk Of and Adele Of.  He was the second oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 31 on December 21st, 1057 in Sudeley Castle, Gloucestershire, England.  He was buried in Abbey, Peterborough, Northamptonshire, England.
