Burga de Stuteville 
Burga de was born about 1135 in Cottingham, East Ride Yorkshire, England. Burga de's father was Robert III de Stuteville , Sheriff of Yorkshire and her mother was Hawise Helewise Murdac. She had four brothers and a sister, named Robert IV de, William de, Osmund de, Patrick de and Helwise de. She was the oldest of the six children. She died after 1185 in Knaresborough Castle, Yorkshire, England. She was buried in Alnwick Abbey, Northumberland, England.General Notes
He [William de Vescy] married, before 1169-71, Burga, daughter of Robert DE STUTEVILLE, by his wife Helewise. Having taken the habit of a monk at Alnwick Abbey, he died shortly before Michaelmas 1183 and was buried near the door of the Chapter House there.
