Hedwige of was born in 0910 in Saxony, Germany.  Hedwige of's father was Henry I "The Fowler" Saxony Holy Roman Emperor and her mother was Mathilda of Ringleheim.  Her paternal grandparents were Otto "The Illustrious" Duke of Saxony and Hedwig Princess of Germany; her maternal grandparents were Theodoric I Count of Ringleheim and Ludmilla Ragnhildis. She had two brothers and a sister, named Otto I "The Great" Holy Roman, Henry I Duke of and Gerberga of.  She was the oldest of the four children.  She died in Aix-La-Chapelle, France.

‌Hedwige of and Hugh were married in a religious ceremony before September 14th, 0938 in Mainz Oder, Ingelheim, Rheinland, Germany.  They had two sons and two daughters, named Hugh Capet King of, Henry Count de, Beatrice Princess of and Emma.
