Thorir "The Silent" Rognvaldsson

Thorir "The Silent" was born about 0872 in Maer, Nord Trondelag, Norway.  Thorir "The Silent"'s father was Rognvald "The Wise" Eysteinsson [Jarl Mere] and his mother was Hilda, Countess Of More Hrolfsdottir. He had two brothers and a sister, named Rollo, Duke Of, Ivar and Thordis.  He was the youngest of the four children. He had six half-brothers named Hugh De, Lambert De, Manasses De, Einar, Hallad and Hrollaug.
