Sanchia Berenger was born in 1225 in Aix-en-Provence, France.  Sanchia Berenger's father was Raimund VI Berenger Ct de Provence and her mother was Beatrice de Savoie.  Her paternal grandparents were Alphonso II "El Casto" Ct de Provence and Gersinde de Sabran Cts de Forcalquier; her maternal grandparents were Thomas de Maurienne Ct de Savoie and Marguerite de Faucigny de Genevre. She had three sisters named Marguerite, Eleanor and Beatrice Berenger.  She was the second youngest of the four children.  She died at the age of 36 on November 9th, 1261 in Berkharnsted Castle, Berkshire, England.
