Adelaide was born in 1027 in England.  Adelaide's father was Duke Robert Normandy and her mother was Harlette Herleve Falaise.  Her paternal grandparents were Duke Richard Normandy and Princess Judith DeBretagne; her maternal grandparents were Fulbert DeFalaise and Doda. She had a brother named William.  She was the younger of the two children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Robert and Emma.  She died at the age of 63 in 1090 in England.
