Eleanor was born on June 17th, 1264 in Windsor Castle, Windsor, Berkshire, England.  Eleanor's father was Edward I "Longshanks" King England and her mother was Queen Of England Eleanor (Leonor) Princess Of Castile & Leon Queen Of England.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry III Plantagenet King Of England and [Queen Of England] Eleonore (Leonor) Berengar [Queen Of England]; her maternal grandparents were King Ferdinand III King Of Leon & Castile King and Jeanne (Joan) De Dammartin [Countess Of Ponthieu]. She had four brothers and eleven sisters, named John Prince Of, Alphonso Prince Of, Edward II King Of, Henry Prince Of, Joan Princess Of, Julian (Katherine) Princess Of, Joan "Of Acre" Princess Of, Margaret Princess Of, Berengaria Of, Mary Princess Of, Alice Princess Of, Isabella Of, Elizabeth, Beatrice Of and Blanche Princess Of. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Thomas Prince Of, Edmund Prince Of and Eleonor Princess Of.  She died at the age of 54 in 1318 in Ghent, Flanders, Belgium.  She was buried in Collegiate Church Of St Gudule, Brussels, Belgium.
