Eleanor Of England was born in 1215 in Winchester, Hampshire.  Eleanor Of England's father was John I "Lackland" OF ENGLAND and her mother was Queen Isabella DE Angouleme Of England DE TAILLEFER.  Her paternal grandparents were King Henry II Curtmantle Of England PLANTAGENER and Queen of England Eleanor OF AQUITAINE; her maternal grandparents were Count Aymer DE Tailifer Of Anqouleme DE VALENCE and Alice DE COURTENAY. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Henry III of England, Richard Of Cornwall, Joan and Eleanor Of England.  She was the second youngest of the five children. She had a half-sister named Joan of England.  She died at the age of 60 in 1275 in Montargis, Loiret, France.
