Hildegarde was born in 0935. Hildegarde's father was Count Arnold I "The Great" OF FLANDERS and her mother was Adele DE VERMANDOIS. Her paternal grandparents were Baldwin II "The Bold" OF FLANDERS and Princess Elfridam OF ENGLAND; her maternal grandparents were Count/ Hurbert II OF VERMANDOIS and Adela DE PARIS OF NEUSTRIA. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Conrad I, Baldwin III, Hildegarde Of Amiens and Elstrude Of Guines. She was the third oldest of the five children.General Notes
