Cecily de was born on May 3rd, 1415 in Raby Castle, Durham, England.  Cecily de's father was Ralph de Neville , KG, 1st Earl Westmorland and her mother was Joan Beaufort.  Her paternal grandparents were John 3rd Baron de Neville , of Raby, KG, Sir and Maud de Percy; her maternal grandfather was John Plantagenet of Gaunt , Duke of Lancaster. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Richard, George, Edward, Katherine, Eleanor and Anne.  She was the youngest of the seven children. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Ralph de, Maud (Mathilda) de, Philippa de and Mary de.  She died at the age of 80 on May 31st, 1495 in Berkhamsted Castle, Hertfordshire, England.  She was buried in Fotheringhay, Northamptonshire, England.

‌Cecily de and Richard were married in a religious ceremony before October 18th, 1424 in Yorkshire, England.  They had three sons and a daughter, named Edward IV Plantagenet King of, George, Richard III Plantagenet King of and Elizabeth "of York".
