Lambert de Multon , of Egremont 
Lambert de was born about 1200 in Moulton, Spalding, Lincolnshire, England. Lambert de's father was Thomas II de Multon , Sir and his mother was Sarah de Flete. His paternal grandparents were Thomas I de Multon and Eleanor de Boston; his maternal grandparents were Richard de Flete and Juliane. He had a brother named Alan de. He was the older of the two children. He had a half-brother named Thomas III de. He died before November 16th, 1246 in Egremont, Cumberland, England.General Notes
LAMBERT DE MULTON, son and heir by 1st wife. He took part with his (whole) brother Thomas in the negotiations for their father's ransom in 1216. He must have been in possession of family property v.p. In 1235 he attested an agreement as to boundaries in Cumberland, and in 1244 had a grant of market, fair and free warren at Fleet.
He married, 1stly, probably circa 1213, Amabel, elder daughter and coheir of Richard de Lucy, of Egremont. He married, 2ndly, Ida, widow of Geoffrey D'OYLY or D'OYRY. He died suddenly, before 16 November 1246. His widow married, 3rdly, Godfrey or Geoffrey DE MILLERS. [Complete Peerage IX:401-2, (transcribed by Dave Utzinger)]
