Rhys Ap Tewdr Mawr

Rhys Ap Tewdr was born in 1048 in Debeubarth, Wales.  Rhys Ap Tewdr's father was Tudor Mawr of South Wales and his mother was Gwenlian of Anglesea.  His paternal grandparents were Cadell of South Wales and Eleanor Verch Gwerystan; his maternal grandfather was Colwyn Lord of Anglesea.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 85 in 1133.

They had a son and a daughter, named Gruffydd ap Rhys Prince of and Nesta Ferch.
