Margaret of Mar 
Margaret of was born about 1274 in Kildrummy Castle, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Margaret of's father was Donald 6th Earl de Mar , Sir Knight and her mother was Helen verch Llewelyn. Her paternal grandparents were William 5th Earl de Mar , Sir and Elizabeth Comyn; her maternal grandparents were Llewelyn ap Iorwerth , Prince of Wales and Unknown Mistress. She had a brother and two sisters, named Gratney 7th Earl de, Margaret (Marjory or Mary) de and Isabel (Matilda) de. She was the second youngest of the four children.General Notes
He [Malcolm of Lennox] is said to have married a sister or daughter of Donald, EARL OF MAR [SCT]. After King Robert's death he supported his son, David II; he set out from his residence of Balach to oppose the invasion of Edward III, a was slain, 19 July 1333, in the battle of Halidon Hill.
