Eleanor De was born about 1285 in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, England. Eleanor De's father was Sir Thomas 1St Baron De Furnival Sir and her mother was Joan Le Despenser. Her paternal grandfather was Thomas De Furnival; her maternal grandparents were Sir/[Justicar Of England] Hugh 1St Baron Le Despenser [Justicar Of England] and Countess Of Norfolk Aline Basset Countess Of Norfolk.
